The Moose Foundation

We believe it's our responsibility to use our resources and assets to drive social and environmental change. As a small business, we're committed to developing ways to support charitable causes and environmental campaigns that align with Moose’s values and philanthropic goals. We aim to empower our staff, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to actively participate in fundraising efforts.

Christmas Fundraising:

This holiday season, our store ambassadors have each chosen a charity to support, and we’re excited to help raise funds! You can contribute by making a donation in-store. As a thank-you, every donation earns you an entry into our Christmas Eve raffle, speak to our staff in store to donate!

Our chosen charities are:

  • Bond Court, Homeless Street Angels - provide outreach through handing out food, clean clothes, and toiletries.

  • York Street, Life Share - a voluntary organisation established to help meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Manchester and Salford.

  • Piccadilly, Street Paws - aims to empower homeless people to keep their pet by their side by partnering with temporary housing providers to become pet friendly.

  • Hope Street, White Chapel Center - the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region.

  • Plaza, Care for the Paw - supporting homeless pet owners by providing Vet care, dog food, collars & leads.

  • Dale Street, Mind - mental health charity offering support, campaigns for change, and promotes mental health.

Sustainability

We recognise our corporate, social, and ethical responsibility to contribute to environmental preservation and tackling climate change. That's why we've launched a Sustainable Practice Strategy, setting achievable and aspirational targets each year. While we already practice several ethical and green initiatives, we're always seeking ways to improve.

  • We use 100% recyclable take-out packaging, 100% biodegradable paper straws, and all our stores serve soft drinks in glass bottles.

  • Our Moose coffee blend is Fairtrade.

  • 62% of our menu is vegetarian or vegan.

  • Our waste is sorted and recycled after collection, including all our food waste.

  • Moose Ambassadors in each store championing our values & sustainability goals.
